Just a preview of a pin-up I’m working on for a local project. Went for an American comics style and I’m happy so far, though I still feel a lot of my seinen manga influences while inking. I need to scan, adjust the proportions and do some cleanup to polish the piece enough to hand it off. Hopefully that won’t take too long.
Another piece for #sketch_dailies featuring juliejubz's character Lucky Lupin as a Sailor Moon-type person! Want to color it but also want to sleep.
My first sketch for #sketch_dailies. It’s a #mummy. I’ll try to keep up with the themes to get back in the swing of things.
Some of you are my friends on DA and though I’m not on there besides lurking i have a request. Some of you know my brother Njaga has been battling cancer. I detailed it in his latest journal entry and I feel like some of you have seen my art through him so I ask that you PLEASE go read the journal entry. Thanks for your time
This is an entry about one of my inspirations on DeviantArt who is unfortunately going through a difficult situation. if you have the time, please read it and have a look at his amazing art. If you are part of DeviantArt, please pay your respects if you’d like to.
Finished fan art of Lucky from @juliejubz's webcomic Lucky Lupin! Somehow I picked up a few of what I suspect are soulkarl's coloring techniques in attempting to cel-shade this piece. So it came out a bit different than I envisioned.
I don’t even know what to say. This is the most incredible thing ever. First piece of fan art for my comic. I adore it so so so so very much! Thank you thank you thank you darling <3
I’m so glad you like it! I was having fun the whole time drawing it, even though I was going for a more monochromatic look at first. Sometimes art takes you places you didn’t know you wanted to go…
Gift art for my dear friend Kayla, feat. Link and her #guildwars2 toon Eikpymir. Piece was made with ink on Watercolor paper and colored in Photoshop.
A Valentine’s Day card design I made that features characters from my old webcomic entitled “Magnetic North”.
A piece I did for one of my best friends, Ben Sawyer. He’s a talented colorist and comic book artist that deserves much more than this from me.
